Lake Cuyamaca is one of the oldest reservoirs in the County.
Its dam was created in 1888 (132 years ago)!
It's one of the most familiar lakes to me, as we've driven by it dozens of times.
I like to visit each year on my annual "Drive in the Country" in my red convertible.
Our neighbor Gina (may she rest in peace) owned a cabin she called Stonehenge;
we stayed there a few times when we needed to get away from the city.
On a recent flight into San Diego I got this nice picture of the lake.
