Pilgrim Creek is on the SE border of Marine Base Camp Pendleton.
It lies in a valley west of the main entrance gate.
I saw it but due to the traffic we couldn't stop,
so we will go back another time to take some photos.
We tried to spot the lake from the housing area shown in the photo above,
but despite walking up/down for several blocks, couldn't find
a vantage point or view of the lake itself.
