This beautiful lake is readily visible from high-speed roadways,
but frustratingly hard to see from a stationary position.
I'm sure local residents have their favorite spots,
but I hadn't found my favorite viewpoint until today.
The Fisherman's View!
Only open on a few days and hours:
Turn up a gravel road on your right, before you reach the campsite.
The water is currently far below the high level!
The dam is on the far NW corner of the lake

Sweetwater Summit Park and Campground are at the SW end of the lake.
Very few of the sites offer views of the lake. These photos are from the parking lot.
