Calavera is a 400-acre lake in Carlsbad,
overlooked by the only (extinct) volcano in this County.
There are trails around the lake, and they seemed quite busy
with hikers, for a misty windy day.
While dog lovers were striding along the edge of the lake,
I was walking around taking photos,
and drug lovers were making a deal in a truck by the road
(not shown).
